Rogue gave me the mental as well as the physical tools needed to complete the marathon. Highly recommended. If it's not Rogue, it's not running!

Having never done a triathlon and never ridden a bike or swam for anything other than recreation, I knew that joining a triathlon training group would be key to taking on the challenge of the Danskin. Not only was the level of training excellent, but the diversity of the group was a pleasant surprise. Despite the different fitness levels, no one was held back, no one was pushed beyond their limits, yet all were challenged and IMPROVED. I smashed my goal time for the Danskin by 5 minutes. I have since heard that of all the Danskin Triathlons across the country, Austin is the most challenging course. The coaches are wonderful, the group seems to naturally draw together amazing women, and I became educated about triathlons, learned how to bike and swim in a race, and made dear friends. Even with the education and fitness gained, I will continue to return to Iron Chicks in the spring. I may do the Danskin, I may do another of the many triathlons offered, but I'll get ready for them with the Iron Chicks.
