             <![CDATA[				A free, fun-filled training run starting at 8am at Pure Austin Fitness Quarry Lake. Perfect for those training for the Austin Marathon or those just wanting to go the distance: complete 11.5 miles and finish at Town Lake (must provide own transportation) or 23 miles by running back to Quarry Lake. A turn-by-turn direction sheet will be provided when you check-in at Quarry Lake. Water stops will available along the route. Check-in at Town Lake for the turn-around/finish then make it back up to Quarry Lake (on foot or catch a ride). Take a dip in Quarry Lake for the perfect ice bath to repair and recover. The course is a point-to-point and back so please plan your transportation accordingly.  Registration not necessary but please email diana@pureaustin.com for a general head count.			]]>

             <![CDATA[Run for the Bluebonnets]]>

             <![CDATA[				Get your running shoes on for Bastrop! The 6th annual &quot;Run for the Bluebonnets&quot; 5K and kids 1K is slated to be held on Saturday, February 25th. This is a certified 5K course that begins and ends in Fisherman&#39;s Park, providing a flat course through historic downtown Bastrop. All proceeds benefit Bluebonnet Elementary school activities and stay in the Bastrop community.  The kids 1K begins at 8:30 a.m. All kids running will receive a medal. The 5K run begins at 9:00 a.m. Awards will be given to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female in 7 age categories. There will also be raffle prize drawings following the run.  Early registration is now through Feb. 11th. If you prefer to register by mail, you can call Bluebonnet Elementary at 308-1325 to have a form mailed to you.              <![CDATA[				Join us on March 17 and 18, 2012 for our Ninth Annual Seabrook Lucky Trail Marathon, Half Marathon, and Relay! This two day event features a Saturday half marathon and 2-person relay and a Sunday marathon, half marathon and 4-person relay. The Seabrook Lucky Trail Marathon, is held on the Seabrook nature trails surrounded by a diverse habitat of both fresh and salt marsh, the coastline of the Galveston Bay, wetlands, and wild-life and bird sanctuaries. The course consists of crushed granite surface. In addition to participating in a single race, runners can enter one of the challenges by finishing two races. This popular event has been known for its enthusiastic volunteers, great goodie bag and awesome post-race party.			]]>

The Bearathon course, which begins and ends on the campus of Baylor University, includes running through beautiful Cameron Parkand scenic downtown Waco.  The 5K is another way you can be involved in this year&#39;s race. The 5K course follows the same path as the start of the Bearathon and takes runners on a scenic tour of Baylor&#39;s campus.  			]]>

A team-supported course ride will leave at 9am (Advanced course) and 10am (Beginner course) if you would like a guide along the way to get you started. Free snacks available at Pure Austin Quarry Lake throughout the day to get participants through the long-haul. This final race of Rogue&rsquo;s three-part series will be a joint event: one part championship race, where the combined time of all three races determines overall placement, as well as a stand-alone event with its own awards.
