Whether training for one of Rogue’s Fat Ass Trail Races , an out-of-town race like Bandera or Big Bend, or if you’re not training for anything at all and just want to get in some trail runs around town, Rogue’s Fall Trail Running program is the perfect program.
The program starts Wednesday, September 1st and runs through the end of November, for those who are training for the Rogue Fat Ass Series, or through the end of January, for those training for Bandera or Big Bend. Classes meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM (with 6:30 “late-comer” starts as well) and on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM, or at other times, depending on the venue and travel.
What you get:
A complete, individualized training plan for your race, which your coach will work on with you, one-on-one
Daily access to your coach, via phone or email, for any questions related to your training
A team t-shirt or running jersey
2 coached workouts a week
How much is it?
$225 for the Fat Ass Fall program, through November
$300 for the full Bandera/Big Bend program, through January
Distances and intensities will vary, depending on what you’re training for, but every Wednesday will be our “quality” workout of hills or speedwork, and every Sunday morning will be our long run. We’ll focus on base-building for at least the first month of the program.
Wednesday evenings at 6:00 PM, we’ll run around Austin’s famous Greenbelt, Bull Creek, Walnut Creek, and other local trails, and on Sunday mornings at 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM (depending on travel time), we’ll meet either in Austin or just out of Austin, to run such beautiful trails as Goodwater, Pace Bend, Bastrop State Park, and Muleshoe Bend.
Whether you sign up for the entire program to train for a specific race or just want to get in a few easy trail runs and learn some new trails, this group is sure to please!
