This program features 16 weeks of trail training for the rugged Bandera trail race on January 10th. Bandera has a long distace offering for everyone, with 25K, 50K, 100K distances. A training plan is created that will get you ready for these races, whether you are an intermediate or a savvy trail runner looking to improve on speed and distance. Runners should be comfortable at the start of the program with a 6 mile trail run. Coached by veteran ultra runners Mallory Brooks (head coache) and Devon Kiernan, you'll be introduced to the trails around Austin. Tuesday evenings will feature trail workouts to develop speed and strength. Saturday mornings will be the long run. This program starts September 9th and ends on January 10th.
