Tragic News

Holding Michael Argall in Our Thoughts

It is with profound shock and sadness we share with you the news of the loss of a member of the Rogue family. On Saturday afternoon June 28^th, Rogue Coach, Michael Argall was struck by a car and killed while cycling. As we all grieve this terrible loss, we ask you to keep Cecilia Turrin, and Michael’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. Bring flowers to Rogue in honor of Michael. Ramsay Wall will take them to his family.

Go to the "Ride in Honor and Celebration of Michael Argall" hosted by Rogue. We'll take a collection and do a safe bike ride in honor of Michael. The ride will start at Lake Pflugerville on July 20th at 8 AM. See the PDF at http://www.roguerunning.com/resources_events.php for a map. Anyone can show up, and we'll take donations at the beginning. If you would like to send a donation ahead of time, or cannot make it to the ride, the Rogue office will take them and put them in the fund. There will be an online donation option soon.

Donate online in Michael's name. His family has requested that, instead of a fund for his kids' college education, we set up a fund for kids who need the assistance. Requirements to receive the scholarship include having a 3.5 GPA, running track or cross country in at least their senior year of high school, and demonstrating financial need.
