WHO IS ROGUE

We are more than a business. We are a community of athletes that share miles together and push each other to new heights. What does it mean to be Rogue?

1. F*&K THE STATUS QUO.
You might be a Rogue if you say, "F*&k the status quo." You aren't interested in staying on the rat race's treadmill or clocking in and out of the gym. You are ready for something more, and you can't find it just doing the Town Lake shuffle. You are ready to move beyond the cookie cutter online programs that never seem to get you where you want to go. You are looking for programs designed by real runners who understand the challenges of busy people in a modern world where the physical grit and grime of putting one foot in front of the other is a daily habit. It's not easy and there is no hack. But you weren't looking for that, were you?

2. GO BIG OR GO HOME.
You might be a Rogue if you'd rather "go big" than go home. From finishing your first 5K to making an Olympic final, Rogue is looking for those who set big, hairy, audacious goals. Where you start is not important if you are willing to take the first step through our doors.

We love that you're dreaming crazy, madcap running dreams. Let us help you do the work to make those dreams a reality. Will you succeed? Not always...we all fail, sure, but Rogues don't stay down and neither will you.

3. GET NAKED.
You might be a Rogue if you are willing to get naked. Not literally, of course, but certainly figuratively. There is no place for masks or bulls**t at 5:30 AM or at the end of a tough, hilly long run. Running is a tough sport, and it rewards those who are willing to get out of their comfort zone and take risks. It becomes significantly easier to take these risks when you share the experience with others who are doing the same runs and making the same sacrifices, sharing running and life together. Training in a group is about more than training partners; it's about sharpening each other and developing lifelong friendships in a larger community of people who are all "going big" together.

4. EMBRACE THE SUCK.
You might be a Rogue if you are willing to make sacrifices to achieve your crazy running dreams. It's not like every run is hard because we fully appreciate the need to rest and recover. But in order to reach for something bigger, you have to get into the pain cave and join the sufferfest. It becomes a rite of passage. You aren't a masochist who MUST suffer for gratification, but you understand that the road will require much from you and are ready to pass through the crucible to achieve the reward.

5. NEXT LEVEL SH*T.
You might be a Rogue if you are open to personal transformation. This word sounds radical and even a little mystical, but really, it's just about finding your edges and pressing them outwards. You are willing to stretch beyond what you know you can achieve and into a space where the unknown is welcome and even necessary. This takes you to the next level, transforming what was formerly beyond your capability into something eminently doable. You might come to us for the running, but you will leave a transformed person if you are willing to embrace everything the community has to offer. For the backstory on NLS, click HERE

6. JOIN THE TRIBE.
You might be a Rogue if you are looking for a tribe and want to be a part of something bigger than you. Society today is diverse and dynamic, but it is also deeply alienating. We all have a strong instinct to belong to small groups bound by clear purpose and mutual understanding. We join churches and book clubs; we check our social media channels incessantly looking for those connections. Rogue won't necessarily replace any of those things, but we will give you a place that you can call home, where people know your name and you can forget the hate and noise all around us. Rogue is a place where you can simply enjoy a few hours sweating and suffering and loving a group of like-minded strangers bound by the the trivial activity of putting one foot in front of the other. There is real magic in that, we promise.

Come run with us to find it.
