Join our year-round training program at any time to get fit, train for your own adventure, or to work with our team on whatever group goal we are chasing. Whatever your motivation, when you join our team you can expect that we will introduce you to new trails, teach you how to navigate them, and prepare you for longer & faster miles! We cover strength training, mobility drills, nutrition, gear, speed workouts, and give you "homework"! With a team of experienced trail runners coaching you, you'll get plenty of one-on-one attention. This group is open to all runners, novice to advanced, training for distances from the 10K up to 100 miles and beyond. Whether you're after your first trail race or are ready to tackle an FKT through a remote wilderness area, we can guide you to your finish line.
Our Spring 21-week training program is designed around the destination race Cactus to Clouds on May 12th as well as the local Rogue Trail Series, with race dates of the Maze on March 25th, the Tangle on April 29th and the Ranch on June 3rd.
Our 16-week Fall program starts June 4th and focuses on the Sky Island trail race in Texas's Davis Mountains on September 22nd. Your coaches are also the Sky Island race directors, so you'll gain expert insight on how to train and prepare for the Sky Island 50k or 25k. There are 2 options offered for the quality workout: Wednesday morning or Monday afternoon. (The Monday afternoon workout will match that of the Wednesday the week before.) Expect track drills to strengthen speed, hill repeats to build power, and occasional tempo runs to get in more distance. Each training day will cover between 5 - 9 miles, depending on the distance you are training for.
