GROUP INFORMATION

The Women’s Podcast Half Marathon, called SHE SQUAD, will focus on training women while considering their specific and unique hormone changes. We have adapted our training to meet those changes. Our program traverses a framework in the book “ROAR: How to Match Your Food and Fitness to Your Unique Female Physiology for Optimum Performance, Great Health, and a Strong, Lean Body for Life. We highly recommend you purchase a copy of Stacy Sims’ book. Although we will not be directly discussing the book chapter by chapter, we will use the principles to guide our training.

  • She Squad will become a small group of five-to-one training, similar to private coaching.

  • Group is limited to 10 people to keep up with each person.

  • Meets Thursdays in a group of 5 to discuss your training, ask questions about exercise, and socialize.

  • Once a month, we will have a whole group meeting where we can continue book discussions and special guests.

  • Meet one-to-one with each person before key races and after key races to design the following program.

  • It person received their own personalized schedule.

Ruth England

Ruth England has been coaching in some form for over 20 years. She is one of the founders of Rogue Running and an avid runner, entrepreneur, metal worker, and home flipper. She is also very passionate about helping people learn to love and become passionate about running. No matter your starting point, she enjoys helping you reach your goals and your full potential. She is also very interested in the female aspect of training and racing. As an avid runner and competitor, she has sought to understand the differences between men and women, in order to be the best coach and competitor she can.
