Covid-19: IN-Person training protocols

Based on the current research, everything suggests that the risk of transmission is low in a dynamic, outdoor environment with small groups and proper spacing. Therefore, we feel confident that these steps are the right ones. That being said, know that we will continue to learn and adapt as we head down this path together to ensure that we keep the needs and health of our community as a top priority. Members should not come to practice if they exhibit ANY symptoms consistent with Covid-19.

  • The training room will be closed - athletes will not be able to use mats/foam rolling equipment, store bags or otherwise have access to the training facilities.

  • All runs will start outside in the parking lot or at an offsite location

  • Maps will be available (coaches will pass them out), but athletes will be encouraged to print them out on their own

  • All workouts (quality and long runs) will have staggered starts and pace groups will be limited to 4-6 people

  • Groups must maintain social distancing (6 feet of space and no touching) before/after the run, at stoplights, hydration stations, etc.

  • All members are expected to self carry personal hydration in a handheld, hydration pack, bottle, etc.

  • Quality workouts will be self-supported; water will not be provided; the coach can not transport keys, gear, clothing, etc

  • Hands-free hydration stations will be available every 4 miles on long-runs

  • Group photos must abide by social distancing guidelines - 6 feet of space and no touching.
