I coach: Team Rogue AM in Austin

Background: I started running with my dad when I was 7 and fell in love with running. I earned a scholarship to run for the University of Texas. After college, and a brief stint in Advertising, I coached Track and Field and Cross Country at SMU for 18 years. I continued competing but switched from track to marathons. I have also competed in many Ironmans and triathlons.

Years Coaching & Philosophy: 18 yrs; Work hard day in and day out and make race day your celebration. You have to have fun with running – remember it is something you get to do - not have to do. Being surrounded by a great team will lift you to heights you never could do alone. Surround yourself with great people.

Best advice for new Rogues: Listen to your body and don’t be afraid of rest.

Most memorable run/race: Boston and Ironman Cozumel

Interesting Fact: I am left-handed and have no ability to wink.
