I coach: True Grit in Cedar Park

Background: I have been off and on running since high school but it wasn't until 2019 that I decided to really dig into it and see what's possible. Forget building from a half to a marathon then an ultra I went right to a 60K trail run all at night in the middle of the Texas summer. I never knew I could experience so much discomfort and pain, but the lessons learned have helped me cover further distances and better survive the Texas heat and humidity. I enjoy unique events like the last man standing events, multi hour events collecting as my loops as possible, OCR, or anything out of the ordinary.

Years Coaching & Philosophy: I have been running since 2019 mostly in the ultra trail scene but enjoy learning all I can about every distance of running. I joined Team Rogue Downtown Austin and Team Rogue Trail in 2020, I started assistant coaching with the trail team around the same time. Most recently summer 2022) I have started coaching in Cedar Park starting with the amazing Rush Hour team and now with the incredible True Grit team.  I believe that we should all have at least a basic understanding of how the body works and as a coach I love to share what I know to help others live the best life they can.

Best advice for new Rogues: Consistency is the key to success.
